Coach JPMD, LLC (“Coach JPMD,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Coach JPMD website at www.coachjpmd.com and The Attending Planner mobile application.

The website and The Attending Planner app handle information differently. The website may receive information you choose to provide through forms, email, purchases, or other interactions. Personal content entered into The Attending Planner app stays on your device and is not transmitted to Coach JPMD.

The Attending Planner App

The Attending Planner is a personal planning and reflection app designed for physicians. It is built to work without an account, without advertising, and without sending your personal entries to Coach JPMD.

- Your app content stays on your device.

- No account or sign-up is required to use the app.

- The app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

- Coach JPMD cannot read your journal entries, planner information, assessments, or other personal content.

- Deleting the app deletes the information stored locally by the app, unless you have separately exported or backed up that information elsewhere.

Information Stored on Your Device

- The Attending Planner stores information locally in storage private to the app. Depending on the features you use, this may include:

- Wheel of Life data: Your scores across Career, Finances, Health, Family, Fun, Growth, Relationships, and Faith.

- Weekly Rounds entries: Your Chief Concern, what is improving, and what needs a plan.

- Gratitude journal: Daily entries you choose to write.

- Tasks and planner data: Focus Planner tasks, priorities, due dates, and week status.

- Profile information: Your name, graduation year, date of birth, and an optional profile photo. Graduation year is used to calculate PGY, and date of birth is used for the birthday-message feature.

- Settings: Reminder times, display preferences, and any app-lock setting you enable.

This information is written to your device and read by the app. It is not transmitted to Coach JPMD, LLC or to any third party.

Profile Photos

If you choose to add a profile photo, the app will ask your device for permission to access your photo library. The image you select is copied into the app's local storage.

The app does not browse, index, or upload your photo library. If you decline photo-library permission, the remainder of the app remains usable.

Device Lock and Biometrics

If you enable biometric or passcode protection for the app, authentication is handled by your device's operating system using features such as Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint authentication, or your device passcode.

The app receives only a success-or-failure authentication result. Coach JPMD does not receive, store, or transmit your biometric information.

Where the app needs to store a sensitive value, it uses your device's system keychain or keystore rather than ordinary app storage.

Information The App Does Not Collect

Coach JPMD, LLC does not collect, receive, store, sell, rent, or share through The Attending Planner app:

- Journal entries, Wheel of Life scores, Weekly Rounds responses, tasks, or notes

- Your name, date of birth, graduation year, or profile photo

- Your email address or other contact information

- Your location

- Contacts, calendars, messages, call history, or files

- Advertising identifiers or identifiers used for cross-app or cross-site tracking

The Attending Planner contains no advertising SDK and no third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK. Because there is no account system, Coach JPMD does not maintain an app user profile or account record for you.

Network Activity Within the App

Podcast Episodes

To display new episodes of The Independent Physician's Blueprint, The Attending Planner retrieves a public RSS feed hosted by Buzzsprout.

This is a read-only request for publicly available information. The app does not include personal information about you or an identifier assigned by Coach JPMD in that request.

As with ordinary internet requests, Buzzsprout may receive technical information such as your IP address and device information as part of its standard server logs. Buzzsprout's handling of that information is governed by its own privacy practices. Coach JPMD does not receive that information from Buzzsprout through the app.

External Links

The app may contain links to the Coach JPMD website or other external resources, including book and support pages.

When you select an external link, it opens in your device's browser or another applicable service. Information collected during that visit is governed by the privacy practices applicable to that website or service.

Notifications

The Attending Planner can provide:

- A gratitude reminder at a time you choose in Settings

- A birthday message based on the date of birth you enter in your profile

These notifications are scheduled locally on your device. The relevant date and time remain on your device, and scheduling these notifications does not require Coach JPMD to receive the information.

You may disable notifications through the app or your device settings.

Exports, Printing, and Backups

PDF Exports and Printing

The Attending Planner allows you to export a week, month, or multi-week period as a PDF. The PDF is generated on your device.

If you choose to save, print, email, upload, or share the PDF, the file is transferred to the app or service you select. Once transferred, its handling is governed by the privacy practices and terms of that service.

Backup and Restore

The app can create a backup file containing your app data. You may save that file wherever you choose and use it later to restore your information.

The backup file is created for you and is not uploaded to Coach JPMD. We do not have access to it.

Because a backup may contain journal entries and profile information in readable form, you should treat the file as you would any other personal document, particularly when storing it in cloud storage, a shared folder, or email.

Cloud Backup

Cloud backup functionality exists within the app's code but is disabled and non-functional in the current release. No configuration is currently present that would allow this functionality to transmit your information.

If cloud backup is enabled in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated before that version is released. Applicable privacy disclosures on the Apple App Store and Google Play will also be updated.

Your Choices and Control Over App Data

Because information entered into The Attending Planner remains on your device, you control that information directly.

You may:

- Edit or delete entries within the app.

- Export a backup of your data.

- Revoke permissions, including notification and photo-library permissions, through your device settings.

- Delete locally stored app information by deleting the app from your device.

Coach JPMD does not maintain a copy of your locally stored app content and therefore cannot retrieve, restore, access, or delete those entries on your behalf.

Website Information

When you use the Coach JPMD website, you may choose to provide information through website forms, email communications, purchases, waitlists, downloads, or other interactions.

The information received depends on how you interact with the website and may include information such as your name, email address, phone number, or other information you voluntarily submit.

Information submitted through the website is separate from information entered into The Attending Planner app. Coach JPMD does not gain access to your locally stored Attending Planner entries simply because you visit the website or provide information through a website form.

Third-party services used by the website may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

Children's Privacy

The Attending Planner and Coach JPMD's related services are intended primarily for practicing physicians, residents, fellows, and other adults and are not directed to children.

Coach JPMD does not knowingly collect personal information from children through The Attending Planner app. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to Coach JPMD through another service, please contact us using the information below.

Security

Information stored within The Attending Planner is protected using security controls provided by your device, including app-sandboxed storage and applicable device encryption. Sensitive values may be stored using the system keychain or keystore.

The app also provides optional biometric or passcode protection that you may enable in Settings.

Keeping your app content on your device means Coach JPMD does not maintain a server containing your journal entries, assessments, planner information, or profile. However, the security of locally stored information also depends on the security of your device.

We recommend protecting your device with a passcode or biometric authentication and keeping its operating system up to date.

No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

California Residents

The Attending Planner app does not transmit your locally stored personal content to Coach JPMD. Accordingly, Coach JPMD does not maintain the app information described above for purposes of accessing, correcting, deleting, or providing it to you.

Coach JPMD does not sell or share personal information collected through The Attending Planner app for cross-context behavioral advertising.

California residents may contact us with questions or requests concerning information Coach JPMD may separately maintain through website or business interactions. You will not be discriminated against for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Users in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom

Personal content entered into The Attending Planner is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to Coach JPMD.

If the app's data practices change in a future release — for example, if cloud backup is activated — we will update this Privacy Policy and applicable app-store disclosures before releasing that functionality.

Individuals in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom may also contact us regarding personal information Coach JPMD receives separately through its website or other direct interactions.

Not Medical Advice

The Attending Planner is a personal planning and reflection tool. It does not provide medical advice, establish a clinician-patient relationship, or function as a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.

Information you record in the app is not transmitted to or reviewed by a clinician through The Attending Planner.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our website, app, or data practices change. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.

If The Attending Planner's data practices materially change — including if cloud backup or another feature that transmits personal app information is introduced — we will update this policy and applicable Apple App Store and Google Play privacy disclosures as appropriate.
